Shipping and Delivery Terms
This is an informational translation. The Turkish version is legally binding.
Effective date: These terms apply to all sales made through Teknora Pazarlama Ltd. Şti. under the Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, the Distance Contracts Regulation (Official Gazette 27.11.2014/29188) and the Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098. By placing an order, the customer is deemed to have read, understood and accepted these terms.
1. Order Processing Time
In-stock products are prepared within the next business day following order confirmation and payment clearance into the seller's system. Weekends, public holidays and administrative holidays are not counted as business days. For products that are out of stock or awaiting supply, the processing time may extend to 30 (thirty) business days; the customer will be notified by email.
2. Delivery Period
Pursuant to Article 16/1 of the Distance Contracts Regulation, the statutory delivery period is a maximum of 30 (thirty) days from the conclusion of the contract. With standard shipping, delivery typically occurs within 1–5 business days after dispatch, depending on the delivery region. These timelines are targets and are not binding commitments.
3. Address Accuracy and Customer Responsibility
The customer declares and undertakes that the delivery address, recipient details and phone number provided at the time of ordering are correct, complete and current. Any of the following costs arising from incorrect, incomplete or invalid address information are entirely the customer's responsibility and will be charged to the customer:
- Return shipping costs
- Re-delivery costs
- Holding/storage charges
- Product damage or loss
4. Transfer of Risk and Damage Notification (CRITICAL)
Under Article 208/2 of the Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098, the risk of loss or damage to the goods transfers to the buyer at the moment the goods are handed to the carrier. Upon receiving the shipment, the customer is obliged to:
- Carefully inspect the outer packaging before opening the parcel
- Refuse delivery if damage is detected (tears, crushing, moisture, tampering, etc.)
- Have a Condition Report drawn up and signed in the presence of the courier
- Retain a copy of the report and send it with photographs to info@nuki.com.tr within 24 (twenty-four) hours
If a damaged parcel is accepted without a Condition Report, liability passes to the customer and the seller bears no obligation in respect of that damage. Damage or shortage claims not notified within 24 hours will not be accepted.
5. Courier Company and Third-Party Liability
Delivery is carried out by independent third-party courier companies contracted by the seller (Yurtiçi Kargo, Aras Kargo, Sürat Kargo, MNG, etc.). The seller is not directly liable for delays, negligence or other acts or omissions by the courier during delivery; however, the seller will provide the necessary support to assist the customer in exercising rights against the courier company.
6. Shipping Fees and Free Shipping
Shipping is free of charge for all orders to Türkiye totalling 2,500 TL or more in a single transaction. For orders below this threshold, the shipping fee is calculated based on the distance from the dispatch point to the delivery point and is shown to the customer at checkout. Combining multiple orders to reach the free shipping threshold is not permitted.
7. Island, Village and Remote Area Deliveries
For islands, villages and remote areas that the courier cannot reach directly, delivery is limited to the nearest branch or agency point. The customer is responsible for collecting the shipment from that point.
8. Recipient
The order is delivered to the order holder's address and personal details. If the order holder is not present, delivery to any person aged 18 or over residing at the same address is considered valid. Delivery to an apartment door, building management, a neighbour or a workplace reception is also considered valid delivery.
9. Force Majeure
The seller is not liable for delays or failure to deliver caused by natural disasters, war, pandemic, strikes, lockouts, legislative changes, administrative decisions, fire, flood, earthquake, transport restrictions, courier operational stoppages, fuel shortages, terrorist acts and other similar unforeseeable and unavoidable events. Delivery timelines are automatically extended for the duration of the force majeure event.
10. VAT and Invoice
All product prices are stated inclusive of VAT. An e-archive invoice is issued with each sale and sent to the email address provided by the customer at the time of ordering. For corporate purchases with a tax number, an e-invoice can be issued on request.
11. Consumer Arbitration Committee and Competent Courts
For purchases made as a consumer, Consumer Arbitration Committees are competent within the monetary thresholds set annually by the Ministry of Commerce pursuant to Article 68 of Law No. 6502; Consumer Courts are competent for disputes above those thresholds. For customers not acting as consumers, the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Çağlayan) are competent.
12. Entry into Force and Amendments
These terms may be updated by Teknora Pazarlama Ltd. Şti. without prior notice. The terms in force on the date of order apply. The Turkish version of this text is the authoritative version; in the event of any dispute, the Turkish version prevails.
