Common questions before you decide
Which Nuki model should I choose?
Smart Lock Go is the entry level and works locally via Bluetooth. Smart Lock Pro adds remote access with built-in Wi-Fi and Power Pack. Smart Lock Ultra is the most compact and fastest flagship, with Matter support. Add Keypad for code/fingerprint entry, Opener for building entrance/intercom. Does Nuki fit my existing door and lock?
Nuki mounts to the cylinder on the inside of your existing door lock. You do not need to change the door or the external cylinder, and your existing keys continue to work. Compatible with most European-type cylinders; check compatibility for your model on the Compatibility page.
Does installation require a locksmith or drilling?
No. Nuki Smart Lock installs in minutes with adhesive tape, without screws — no locksmith, drilling, or permanent changes to the door are required. If you wish, you can replace the cylinder with Nuki Universal Cylinder to add code/fingerprint access from outside as well.
Is internet required for remote unlocking?
It works locally via Bluetooth without internet. For remote control, guest access, and automations, an internet connection is required with models that have built-in Wi-Fi/Thread (Smart Lock Pro and Ultra).
Is it suitable for Airbnb or short-term rental?
Yes. Reservation-linked guest codes are generated automatically; access ends automatically at check-out; separate time-limited codes are assigned for cleaning and maintenance. See the Solutions page for Airbnb and channel-manager integrations.
What about warranty, shipping, and support?
2-year warranty and Turkish-language technical support are provided by the official Türkiye distributor (Teknora Pazarlama Ltd. Şti.). Free shipping across Türkiye on orders over 2,500 TL; 14-day unconditional right of withdrawal applies.
I use another brand of smart lock or a classic lock. Is switching to Nuki hard?
